SUMMIT did exactly that; they won't deal any Speedmaster parts anymore.Walter R. Malik wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 10:44 am If Summit had any integrity they would pull ALL the Speedmaster stuff off their shelves and never sell any of the Speedmaster stuff again.

Wonder what corporate name they'll have next. This is nothing new for them, just dissolve speedmaster LLC and create another one, business as usual.

and at that point, I am betting summit will sell that new companies products.Bill Chase wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 11:48 am Wonder what corporate name they'll have next. This is nothing new for them, just dissolve speedmaster LLC and create another one, business as usual.

They don't put someone else's name on it and try to pass it off as the originator's real product.

I agree, using the original manufacturer's name is truely agregious!, But, the fact that Summit is willing to sell any knock off of an American product is UN cool. And they sell many knock offs with Summit branding.Walter R. Malik wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 5:07 pmThey don't put someone else's name on it and try to pass it off as the originator's real product.
The whole thing is rediculous, and I don't claim to have the answer to fixing it

No all Summit brand stuff is made in China. I bought some pushrods from them says Made in USA on the pushrods. They seemed good quality. I also bought a Summit brand engine block. That is one of the Blueprint block. BPE is cast on it and Summit on the front. The block looks really nice to me. I do want to hardness check the iron though to see what it checks for brinell hardness. They claim it's class 35 iron and is better than Dart SHP class 30.
Re: Another reason not to buy Speedmaster shit
Speed master and other companies sell junk for sure. I hate when used to be American made companies sell china stuff with their name on it for the same price or more. It makes it easier for it to get copied and sold in white boxes.
Re: Another reason not to buy Speedmaster shit
Well done Summit racing!!!.....Now Jegs has also dumped Speedmaster parts from their site.

A few years back I bought some stock long slot BBC rocker arms form Summit, they were super nice and made in the USA. Not using them right now but I won't sell them either. Great product for a great price.
