I have an old Kwik Way crank polisher I bought in my younger days.
I also owned a small auto machine shop.
Still in excellent condition.
Even used it yesterday on a mower crank that is another story.
But...
I need new tires for my tractor and was thinking about selling it.
So I went online to do a little research to see if it would be worth messing with.
Can't find diddley squat about it and not much info on hand held polishers.
I know I am getting old and have been out of the engine rebuilding business for awhile.....
Although I still do my own and help other people.....
Couple questions if anyone can answer???
Do shops use these much anymore?
Any idea what mine might be worth?
Or is it just another antique that I need to hang back up on the ceiling?
Even have an old Storm boring bar with extra boring head and all attachments I
got from my grandfather with a couple receipts from 1943.
And I guess some other museum pieces I would like to do something with...."One Of These Days"!!!
anyhoo...
Any thoughts about the polisher?
Anyone???

I use my polisher several times a week, every week. Not always on crankshafts but it does get used. Don't know exactly which one you have but would venture to say it is worth doing something with. What size belts does it use ? Picture ?

I usually go online just once a day early in the morning and try and limit myself to an hour or so.
And am running late this morning.
Anyhoo......
It uses a 64" belt.
Don't know if you will be able to enlarge these photos.......
