Solid roller regrind
I have a couple of rollers left over from when I raced dirt track. They are 258/260 at .050, 106lc, .600 lift. I'm looking for a street roller with around 236/240 at .050 ,106lc .550 lift. Are the dirt track cams to big to be regrouned to the street cam?
Re: Solid roller regrind
You would grind through the heat treat, if you made that big of a change.
You could get away something around 244/248@.050" and .570" Lift

Re: Solid roller regrind
Would 244/248. @.050 on a 106lc installed at 102. Be to much for a cruise rpm of 1800 to 2200. 350 sbc, 11.0 c/r, double hump heads. Looking for throttle response and torque between 2000 to 5000 rpm

Re: Solid roller regrind
For that RPM you would need to be around 216/220@.050"

Re: Solid roller regrind
Why not sell o those cams to a braket racer or someone building a hot hot street racer. Then buy the SR cam for the job.
