HP single carb 4 cylinder examples ?

What's the best examples of inline 4 cylinder single carb race motors ?

Are/were there any that got to two HP/ci ?

I've found a 1ci motor that makes 2.4 on nitro with a single carb. But I was really after full size examples.

Yeah, like, a 4bbl is really 2 x 2bbl cars casted together. A Weber is 2bbl’s on the same casting.

Such a silly combination to seek out.

Single carb, i.e, wet flow from one entry into the manifold. A Webber feeding 2 cylinders from each barrel without a common plenum would be a single carb outside of what I intended.
Down draft would be good to but I did run a 2" SU on a VW (flat four) when I was a kid. Turned the manifold around and ran it through the firewall.

I was thinking of the pontiac super duty for instance.
You can probably make as much power as you want as long as you don't mind the idle, cruise, and throttle response being abysmal.

Don't know about 4 cyl, but in 1967 Pontiac used the QJ on a 230 cu in inline 6. In Australia, Chrys used a Carter 625 AVS on a 245 inline 6.
