Bolt the Victor jr tall manifold to it and hit it with a dykem?

Still gathering parts and figuring port designs. All we have gotten is a good 400 2 bolt block so far. Thanks

Kinda , sorta now look like the port form of the 305 vortec head intake ports. #059 castings.
Impressive work.

Re: Chevy 193 Swirl port Mission Impossible
I was talking with a race friend about this the other night, he told me he used some set of swirl port heads. After removing the swirl ramp, widening the pinch and port match the head poured 200cc's. He ran them on a 400 SBC in his drag car running 10.50's not sure what he had for a cam and all that, but I thought that was interesting and must have been a lot of grinding.

Will this be carburetor or efi and is there a hood clearance to consider?

Re: Chevy 193 Swirl port Mission Impossible
Is all the wet flow mainly about not wetting the plug?
Racing a NA NHRA stocker should be mandatory before any posting.
Re: Chevy 193 Swirl port Mission Impossible
Are these heads good for forced induction? I can't help but think that with their super fast burn speed you could match it to a pair of small twin scroll turbos and be able to run comparatively high levels of boost on pump gas. Would make for a great truck motor that some of you 'Muricans say you want

I like fuel injection and Stevie likes carbs so we will see how it progresses. Thanks

Plug wetting is obviously important. What I do with the dykem is try to spead out the pattern. It is much heavier than fuel so I figure if the dykem is wide there the fuel pattern will be better. Thanks

I use a mix of AnreiB-Fluid and alcohol, but i found the density of Dykem in its safety data sheet;
LPG 0.525 to 0.580 20%-30%
Butyl Acetate 0.882 20%-30%
Ethanol 0.789 30%-40%
= 0.746 if i calculated correctly, the specific gravity is not much heavier than the fuel. I use acetone to clean up residue between tests.

Re: Chevy 193 Swirl port Mission Impossible
Most impressed with the OP's videos. Would love to see a test with his Vic Jr. tall vs an RPM air gap with the divider cut down. One thing for sure is, just because it's down on the flow with the flow bench doesn't mean it will be bad at the track. Still very very good numbers out of that head.
