Couldn't find any pics from sides or ends ,but this was cut down 1-1/8" on runners. Ported a ton to get taper working for rpm. Had 1-1/8th " plenum spacer and we ran rubber mounted anti reversion plates from Braswell iirc. My brother found time slips from his old victor ram that I welded runners and plated. Had 585" plenum in it also. It was over a tenth faster on his engine than the pro failure otb

Made 3 passes. I'm sure i was making way more power but couldn't get a clean pass then on the 3 rd run hit the wall.

My 60 foot was on track to be my best ever run. Came off the line heading towards the center. I don't know what happened but i hit the wall just before the 1/8 mile timers. There is lots of video out there i will try and find.

I'm ok just a bit beat up. There was probably 5000 people watching so its gonna be hard to keep it a secret.

The car is destroyed.

Glad you are ok. That is going to take considerable buffing.

So sorry to see this. I am so glad you are ok. The only thing worse than seeing a wreck is watching someone get hurt. Thank the Lord the car did its job and the man up stairs for looking out for you.

You should be able to upload it from a saved file on your computer provided it's the correct format and no larger than 10 MB.

Seeing as you're OK, I suppose it's alright to ask if the drivetrain took a hit too. I've broken a transmission case and bent a rear axle with a similar impact. Although rather than a guardrail it was a hillside adjacent to the road when I spun around on poor tires in the rain. Crunched my 68 Chevelle in the left rear quarter and then the culvert wiped out the front end. That was a lot of years ago (40+) but I remember the incident with unusual clarity.

Dang!
Awesome hobby at times isn't it?
I had an engine failure a few years back. A little thing that led to destruction (or very nearly so). I've been in the planning/rebuilding phase ever since. But the end is in sight. Here's hoping you can get back at it sooner rather than later.
