Page 2 about 1/3 of the way down, there is a picture of an exhaust port with expoy in it. I have a set of heads somebody hacked the exhaust port at the header flange. What epxoy are you using ?

Furnace cement isn't it ?

No epoxy there ... instead that's Brazing , welding Brass to bottom of Exhaust Ports
Re: SuperStock 461X 041X Heads and Dyno tests
First set I saw brazed up were my dad's heads that he got from Troupi and Kling back in 79. Ton of work

Larry
I just bought a brand new set of 292 castings, I'd very much like to send them your way!

Re: SuperStock 461X 041X Heads and Dyno tests
those #461X Heads are much better looking now , than the Pics above are in previous Posts !
i went to 320-Grit finish in Bowls and Chambers instead of wornout 120-Grit Roll as in Pics
reason : for these old cast-iron Heads to help stop a crack from forming
plus some little rust spots kept popping up after polishing , and the 320-Grit finish seems to have stopped that so far !
Ports are still 120-Grit finish so far
i'll Post new Pics later on

WOW, that Z28 intake really kills the flow! I cut the divider down a bit on one last summer for a LT1 restoration build and it picked up some power.

My SBC air Gap with the divider cut down was quicker and just as fast as my 300-25 was in testing. I am sure with more compression and stuff it would have been the other way arounds though. Nice work Maxrace.
