At this time, we are a partially funded team with a rather well established website and Internet exposure. In addition to cyber exposure, we offer a large array of exposure opportunities for our sponsors in the form of promo appearances, press releases, autograph sheets and trading cards. The one obstacle we are facing at this point is going to the next level of sponsorship. One that will take us into fully funding our two car/two class team vs. partially funding the team.
1) We have local sponsors, but are now looking at either a regional sponsor or larger local sponsor. How do we overcome this obstacle?
2) There are online product companies that will print your artwork on their products (i.e. t-shirts, cups, thongs, you name it.) and sell those products from their website at a cost above their cost to you. How far do you mark a product up and yet still make it attractive to someone that may not be interested in a regional team vs. a larger national team?
