Well, it won't be a sbc block but you could try VW's W-8 layout.

I see what you did here
=D>

I frequently encounter "folks" who have never machined anything but think they know something.
They love to use the term "bore it out" to describe any/all machine operations, or as an universal solution to any/all fitment issues.

So in the spirit of the ignorant "bros"
"Just bore it out BRO"

Yes, 1 or 2 such pistons will fit in the lifter valley!

Don't over think this as is the norm.
Schmidt only requested A piston.
He did not specify where to put it.
Carry on.

17 to go

Ohh OK You can put A single in a stock 4 quart pan. With the right intake I would think you can put A single in the lifter valley or is that too simple minded thinking

Where and how many? Seems you might be able to squeeze two big sleeves on each side and create a v4. Obviously way more than a simple bore and sleeve... You'd have to really really want to just to prove it possible.

Make a custom rod that's forked at the pin side and use that piston with a single boss in the center! :D 8)

As long as you rev it high, it'll win races. In all of my twelve thousand years of experience, rpm always wins races.

All that piston overlap is going to make it run a little rough on the low end...

Somewhat O/T, but for reference I have many common engines grouped by bore pitch (to identify "family" relationships and similarity of construction) in my table here: http://victorylibrary.com/mopar/m-table.htm
