Printer don't print
I have my Lexmart printer plugged into my computer but it won't print anything. My computer used to tell me when the printer ran out of paper etc. Its like it won't communicate with the computer. Keep in mind I am NOT good with electronics. Any suggestions would be much appreciated

What kind of computer? Did it used to print properly? Did this problem come up when you installed a new printer or did the problem just show up after some time?

Re: Printer don't print
When my Lexmark got stubborn, often unplugging its USB cable from the computer, then shutting down and re-firing the computer and plugging the cable back in would fix it.
Also, if you click on the Lexmark icon in the tool bar at the bottom (or if you have a shortcut icon on the screen) and poke around a bit, you may find several print jobs jambed up and deleting them may get it going again.
If this is a new computer, you have to reload the operating system via the Lexmark Install disc.
BTW, the very worst problems it gave me were when it ran out of paper...
Good luck.

Might not be the problem but do you have the printer and computer on powersupply surge protectors? Over the years I have lost a lot of electronics here in Florida from this -- surge protectors help (not a 100% cure, though).
