Pro Billet HEI with rev limiter
I assume this pro billet MSD HEI distributor will work well on my big block. It is part # 8365 it has 7.5 amp module and high output coil with rev limiter and it has vaccum advance. My question is will this work with a mild 150 shot of nitrous in the future? It is used but was sent to MSD to be checked and it's perfect. I'm gonna pay $125 for it. Also I will need to learn how to set up the vaccum advance I've never run one and don't know how to set it! Thank you for your time Bob
someday I'll have something more than Junk!!

Bob,
I've never used the MSD, HEI so I can't help you there, however, you can purchase an adjustible vacuum advance from Crane (PN 99600-1) and it comes with a limiting device so you can limit how much vacuum advance you want. I'd recommend you limit the vacuum advance to 10-12 crankshaft degrees and adjust it to start dropping out at about 12 inches of manifold vacuum. That should give you a good starting point.
