who does DLC?

Post by lewy-d »

I searched. So far I've found Calico. What are other companies that will DLC a set of wrist pins?

thanks,

Some coating companies won't work with used parts. If needing DLC parts, I've found it more cost effective to buy from the manufacturer, because they have it in large volume. I once got a quote of $35 per piece for twelve pieces.

I use Casidium coated parts from "IHC Industries" in North Carolina.

I have used IHC in North Carolina. Learned a lot about the preparation process. Have to be careful with used parts. I had a rocker arm that the coating flaked off after they coated it twice. It was marked and tagged by the coaters so it didn't get accidentally used.
