Just got a set of 062 Hecho in Mexico castings, has 11 under the runners which I assume is the year on them and was on a 602crate.
On this particular casting does it have the normal 170cc runners or do they have 159 runners?
Was only planning to do clean up work on the exhaust side and maybe bowl clean up if it needs it on the intake?

These Mexican vortec casting flow about 10 cfm less than the Canadian ,062 heads from the 97-2000 era. But you can port them up. nicely just the same. Its just a lil extra work.

Every Mexican Vortec head I've flowed make less then the original factory heads. Can they work? yes but the older heads work better with less work, if you can find some good ones.
