Not to give a recommendation but as someone who used to R&R 1000+fasteners a day by breaking them loose by hand then using a then state of the art 9.6 volt Makita every one of them amaze me. I wish they came out 30 years earlier. Today my arthritis is so bad I likely to get hand cramps just signing my full name.

I'd get a Milwaukee Fuel M18 and use an adapter. That way you can have the best of both worlds.

This is the thing to consider, several of the popular companies have lines of battery powered tools. In my experience, the name brands are all good and offer about the same performance. The key is the battery. Once you begin with a line of tools, double check to be sure each addition tool you add can be operated with the same battery. Once you have a few batteries, In many situations, the tool can be bought "less battery" at attractive pricing

18 Volt plus is the cat's meow! I personally have a large assortment of Makita 18 volt yet only have a few batteries. Two of the batteries have been in service for at least four years and operates like new.

Tools with brushless motors, variable speed triggers, and 18+ volt batteries are where its at.

The 2754 M18. It can use the large or smaller M18 batteries

Not the same thing but I use to like Milwaukee drills then I bought a Makita and it don't wobble.

This, 18v brushless motor, dual charger for 18 and 12 volt batteries, and Milwaukee makes a tool for things you never imagined. Be careful though, once you get one tool and some batteries they can become addicting.

I have a Milwaukee 18v Fuel 3/8 impact and I use the heck out of it. Does 90 percent of the work in my shop. No dragging around air hoses.
