Re: Cam id help please
Crane used CHS to ID some of their cams.

Or possibly Bullet Cams. They use the CHS letters to identify lobes. I've seen a few other cams listed from them that start with CHS, also.

Re: Cam id help please
I would say it's a crane solid roller 319/328 advertised duration on a 110 lobe center which would make it like 286/294 @ .050 .... could be custom ground ... if I'm right the quick way to tell is that gross lift should be around .700 so measure the base and then the lobe and do a little mathtoolmakeron wrote: ↑Fri Jun 08, 2018 11:28 pm I need some cam id help please. Crane says it's not theirs. Eric went through a bunch of stuff and didn't find anything even close. Try Bullet. Pretty sure they use 6 digit numbers for something with their cams, also.(222000)Scotthatch wrote: ↑Sat Jun 09, 2018 8:05 amI would say it's a crane solid roller 319/328 advertised duration on a 110 lobe center which would make it like 286/294 @ .050 .... could be custom ground ... if I'm right the quick way to tell is that gross lift should be around .700 so measure the base and then the lobe and do a little mathtoolmakeron wrote: ↑Fri Jun 08, 2018 11:28 pm I need some cam id help please. An older post on Yellowbullet shows a guy looking for info on a cam with a similar number format. ID'ed as a Cam Dynamics piece. Contact Chase Knight aka chasek http://www.yellowbullet.com/forum/member.php?u=20908 he seemed to know a lot about that CHS cam. It was CHS 304-316-10R.90 as well as other Cam Dynamics cams posted on other forums. If it's from there, he'll probably have the most info on it, as far as I can tell.

Re: Cam id help please
A Cam Dynamics grind would be 10R, not R10. Perhaps Reed, or early Lunati? Chase

If you really need good numbers on it toss it in a block with a degree wheel and plot it out .. then it doesn't matter who made it
