I'm working an an air cooled single cylinder 250 cc triumph and need to make a bronze bushing for the rod for the floating piston pin. I'm guessing it will probably see around 350 degrees. The id of the rod is around .700 and the thickness of the bushing is .047.
Which bronze would be best to use?
How much interference fit for the bushing/rod?
Thanks for any help.

Ampco 45 bronze with .0025" press and a little green Loctite works well for us

Bushings are difficult to make one off and the catalogs have many options. Much easier to find the OD needed, press in, trim to length and hone to ID.
