Post by steve cowan »

reading posts back from page # 703
it is no secret i am interested in the head porting stuff
if anyone is interested in anything on speedtalk i strongly suggest go to the old posts, there is so much information available,i understand we are all time poor including myself, turn the idiot box (television) OFF and start learning
i am amazed that there are guys here still posting from 2004,
thank you to all involved

By the time you get to 500 to go another 50 pages will have popped up ! But yes there really are some fantastic posts and threads on ST and hashing over old threads are far better for the brain than any crud on television. Got to say I really enjoyed the "pressure recovery in the combustion chamber" thread to name just one.

Just wish they were easier to find. The tiniest error in search criteria, even a missing space, give a "no matches found". Fortunately, Google does a better job of hunting down our stuff. :)

Yes cj, per my post score under the wrench icons on the right, I blew by that number some time ago. Maybe it's time to consider a life outside the net.. :-k

I have one: About once a week during a break in my life on S/T, I walk 10' to the garage and tighten a bolt or two on the 495" aluminum Can Am engine for my bought-new '70-1/2 Z-28. :D

I do wonder sometimes, considering the advancements in our experience and understanding, how relevant the threads from 10+ years ago are to today's standards. I'm sure it's possible that some of the information, that was commonplace back then, is rendered obsolete today.
