Larry,
I believe the 7A heads were used on 350 ci engines. Is the valve size 1.875 and 1.562?

Late 80's 307 swirl port head ,junk, the better 7a head has the "a" smaller than the 7.

Late 1985 casting , so it likely went out the door on a 1986 motor.

That is definitely a 307 head, but as an FYI, there were 5A, 6A, and 7A heads that were cast for late 60s / early 70s 350s with the A the same size as the number. I have a set of the oddball 5A heads on mine that were cast in a different foundry or something. Both the main number and the casting number pad have the "A" suffix.

I don't have a picture of the casting number pad between the center exhaust ports handy.

Something similar in concept to the Chevy heads with that basic design.

There are a few people running the late roller cam 307 in Stock Eliminator, think 86, 87, and 88 Cutlass. Might be how you came to have one, Larry.

Junk for a performance application, but they worked exceptionally well for what they were designed for. In a mid 80’s olds 88, 2.41’s and a 200R4 trans (!), 22mpg at 80 mph...best long distance road trip car ever! Just keep the EGR passages clean!

Even if it was given to you, It's not worth the money to ship to you for use as a good boat anchor. JK.

Yes! I got 22-25mpg highway with my '84 Delta 88 Royale Brougham and the computerized carb. Add a 25 gallon tank and you can really reach out!
