Winning EMC engine had average TQ of 485 LBs ( or 1.37 AV. Pounds/cube ) and average HP of 475 ( 1.345 AV. HP/cube ) on the best scoring pull at EMC.CGT wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2017 9:58 am I'm mostly interested to score it against our "Winning" EMC engine from this year. Legal in every way minus the hyd roller and '2 Bolt Pattern Heads " . It'll be fun to see how it stacks up being very similar cubes etc to see how much those 2 "illegalities" may have been worth.
SN will need 490 AV. TQ and 480 AV. HP to score the same as EMC engine.
That means it will need to average the same TQ as it made peak on the dyno last time. Sounds easy.
The AV. HP will likely come closer to EMC, but how much will be above EMC scoring RPM will be the question.
But, TQ kinda rules the EMC.
To say the least !!
