Kaase wins vintage with an awesome MEl engine.

Just when you think the 62 year old SBC is all done, Creason wins traditional muscle with one.

Congrats to Creason, they worked hard for the win. They stayed in 1st place and had to sit there all week and watch everyone dyno. =D>

So, they set the clubhouse score and no one could catch them. Good for them. =D>

Everyone wants to win the competition, which we tried to do, but meeting and talking to engine builders in the EMC is something I'll never forget. Everyone is so easy to talk to and will answer almost any question you ask them. Some of the big hitters (John and Tony) came by and talked to us like we talked all the time. We've picked up a couple of 3rd place finishes, but this year meant a lot to us.

Thanks to HotRod, RJ, Adger and the UNOH kids.

I couldn’t agree more! EMC is not only where cutting edge engine developememt is realized but where you experience the gear head family environment. Everyone is approachable! What a awesome experience!

Kudos to the class act EMC team, Adger, RJ, Lonnie, Hot Rod, and the tireless young people at UNOH! World Class!

Thanks to all!

This contest called the Engine Masters Challenge is simply the best avenue for viewing the builds and seeing the ultimate traditional type engines, ANYWHERE.
Along with the camaraderie which happens and continues forward from there is just an awesome experience.

Unfortunately, the rumor was going around in the later days of this year's contest that if it is to continue, it will need a different coordinator to take control of running it.
Hot Rod Magazine was bought by another entity who doesn't envision this contest to be in their future.

I, for one, certainly hope there is some entity out there who can see the advantage of this contest and the popularity it has within all the people interested in learning about "top of the line" engine building and some "out of the box" thinking which is destined to become reality in making advancements toward more horsepower in everyday type engines.
