Tested the flow, 1.5 gal. per minute. Is that enough?

340 litres / hour.

Enough for 800 HP or a bit more?

340 is more than enough.

Hopefully no cavitation occurs.

Pump is rated at 320 but at 43 lbs. press. I'd guess.

On my QJ I had about 3/10 of a gallon in 11 sec, I had problems but it was due to fuel pressure forward out of the pump, stalled fuel in the line on launch. My new fuel system 5/10 of a gallon in 11 sec, but a solid 12 psi forward at that flow, problem solved.
Racing a NA NHRA stocker should be mandatory before any posting.

Yes its often interesting to run a gauge both before and after the reg if running a dead head system. If pressure between reg and carb drops from say 6lb to 4lb just after launch you can bet the pressure before the reg is doing the same due to launch g.

If you run a QJ on a car that leaves.....you better have a good fuel system.
