what brand and weight gear oil should be used in my fore 9 inch true trac rear. car is street driven thanks art

How about a 80w90 GL5 rated lube with a bottle of limited slip additive.

I would suggest Redline full syn. light weight shock proof gear oil in the blue and white bottle.
The torque sensing differentials really like the full syn. oils and if you do beat on it it has the shear strength needed for hard working race applications

If you have a lot of power or really deep gears (5.13,5.83 etc..) you will get less wear with 140wieght

If thats the case with a steep gear use the Red-Line 85/140 shock proof red
