What plugs tend to work best in these heads? (Iron heads)

Also when I was reading about various heads, I noticed some head porters recommend a specific timing range on various brands when using specific heads. Is there a specific or recommended timing range for these heads? Currently set at 36 degrees.

Current heads being used on a truck pulling engine. No port work done.
