I freshen a BBC that was run at Daytona that had .045 side clearance with no problems.

Thanks, I try a lot of things some work some don't (a lot don't) but I keep swinging the bat, I learned a long time ago if you do what everyone else does you run like everyone else.

I freshen a BBC that was run at Daytona that had .045 side clearance with no problems.

What track did it run ? Was that a dirt engine ? Why so much side clearance, the one I had just pounded the crap out of the spiral locks.
