I admire his work as well. Are you going to eagle field in a couple of weeks? I've never been so I might check it out.

We will be there spectating as my son is going into surgery in an hour and won't be able to do shit for the next 6 weeks. We will be helping Brandon and his Black 62 Chevy 2 that we re-fabbed the rear suspension for.In-Tech wrote:I admire his work as well. Are you going to eagle field in a couple of weeks? Keep me posted, let me know how things go. And I know all about surgery, 5 years ago I had open heart surgery, I was out of racing for 6 months...

Installed the Carb and fuel pump this AM and all I can say is PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!! 1/4 turn out on the metering blocks is all I had to do. I am amazed without the water pump and fan running it stayed at 140* Kicked the fan and pump on and it went to 120*. I should have done this 12 years ago dammit.

Mark the surgery was bad. Now they are thinking it is something else. We are getting him the hell out of here and to UC Davis. I am going to drive the car at the next race and hopefully not get the boot for running way below 10.00 It went 9.91 2 months ago on gas at 240* engine temp so we will see.....jmarkaudio wrote:Keep me posted, let me know how things go. Re: BIG shout out to jmarkaudio on my 1050 conversion!!
Make sure you have a lean out so you can get heat in the engine. Cold engine temps and Methanol make for milked oil and bearing failures. Other than that, alky is the only way to fly.
