SBC high ratio stamped rocker arms?

Wondered if anyone made stock style stamped rocker arms higher than 1.6 ratio ? (small block chevy...)

I beleve Smokey used to put BBC Steel rockers on, if I recall correctly.

Some of the older guys may remember?

Yes. Mentioned & pictured in several build articles. I believe studs were relocated.

If you can use roller rockers?
I think Crane still makes a 1.65 in their gold rockers that returns about a 1.68, Comp makes a 1.7 and use to have a 1.8 but I don't know if they still cary the 1.8
Lower cost would be a Harland Sharp 1.65

Pioneer makes stamped for Pontiac in a 1.65, You may contact them.

We used to have a box full of stamped 1.65's, but I don't recall the name. (this was years ago) You definately needed to clearance the factory heads for pushrod clearance with them.

didn't pontiac Ram Air motors come with a higher ratio? they'd probably bolt on with minimal mods?

Plenty of high ratio stud mounted roller rockers avaliable.

Guess I should have mentioned that the rules we have only allow stamped steel... no rollers..

Manley makes a 1.6-1 for 3/8 stud. Elgin has both 3/8and 7/16. in 1.6 and they both look stock.

Chevy stamped rockers for the 250/292 I6's are something like 1.75 ratio; I have no clue if they will work for your application.
