As a person very much involved from the inside perspective of conservative politics, I might suggest that may want to update your observation to be relevant with the times. Say from 2010 to date. While you are quite correct and to a large degree about the poor performance of Republican party in representation as seen in administrations past, but if your held views today reflect what you saw years past, then you are more mistaken with every passing day. The entire state of political affairs in the US was a huge wake up call for the Republican party. Much of this thanks to the diligent efforts of the Tea party. You only need to see the good work coming out the House of Representitives in the last six months to see that they've got the picture. Right now things are challenging for sure with disagreement between Congressional Republicans and the Democrat controlled Senate. Still many states are seeing good work from their Congressmen and in time we will have accomplished quite substancial results you will readily see. More work to be done! More dead weight to be removed and more people like Scott Tipton and Allen West to be elected. 2010 to today we have gained some big results from very small beginnings. No time to rest, more work to be done!

They not only accomplished that rather slyly, but have an abundance of people that support their efforts and are johny on the spot to help them in every possible way they can.
