The Bible does not explain the origins of evolution.

"Intelligent design" does. And the the cornerstone of that is the bible.

Pray for a secular future.

MSNBC's catch phrase is "Lean Forward". Shouldn't it be "Bend Over"?

The Bible does not explain the origins of evolution.

To a point I agree. The point in my response to the post was that the Bible does not explain explain the origins or evolution. It explains the origins of CREATION. I totally agree with intelligent design and the Bible. Not evolution. Yes we can adapt to certain things, but the theory of evolution is totally different.

How does one attempt to explain that non-biological objects are also subject to evolution over time?

Hmm, news to me. Is it the fact that our knowledge and understanding of them is evolving?

Probably so. I imagine it is very difficult to plot changes over the course of hundreds of millions of years. But they can examine light wave lengths emitted long, long ago from distant stars and determine their composition compared to older or younger stars.
