Postby hotrodhp » Sun Jul 24, 2011 11:01 pm

i have a good friend who built a 396 sbc, dart iron eagle heads,13.5:1 comp for his mud truck...speed pit. He hasnt had it dynoed yet, but judging what hes told me hes prolly got a 550 or morehp engine. He was telling me what converter he had in it...like,a 1500 or sumthing reallly low. Doesnt a setup like this need maybe a 4000 or 4500 in it. The truck is an s10

I think the MUD will act like a high stall converter. He needs to get wheel speed and a low stall will do that if he has the initial to break them loose.
