throttle pot trouble

Im having trouble with a new throttle pot, they are supposed to be the same in action, as the old one, and are very similar to look at,.

but on the new one, when the TP on the parameters is set to 1, it will no rev, and when it does, its dog ruff ruff

but it will work ok at tp 3 on the live parameters, !!!

when on TP 3, it is 13 points higher on the fuel map/ve site

so i put in 13 points more fuel along the bottom two lines, and set the TP back to 1

but it was still the same, no rev, spluttering, dying at low throttle openings

the Omex Boffin , is stumped, as we were at it for two hours this morning, but no joy, they [ omex ] have been using the new pots, [ colverns ] with there sytems for yonks, and have no trouble,

they should be a sraight swap,

the old ones, wabash, are no longer made, so this is why they changed

put the old one back on, re set to tp 1 , and its great,

apart from the ..idle scatter..thats why i am replacing it,.

any one had similar experiances with TP,s!!
