Rotor sanding

Rotor sanding
I have brake fade(glazed the pads) all over my calipers and i am replacing the front brake pads with hawk racing pads but need to sand the rotors to clean them up was wondering what grit of sand paper i can use i was thinking 120 to 180 grit but am curious on other people's opinion............thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply , just the way i have been doing it...it just resures me i am doing it rightBeretta wrote:Do you have a da sander??? If so get some 120 grit and spin the rotor as you apply the da to it. They will clean up real nice just make sure you clean them up with some brake clean....
