The version I heard was: "The man with a watch knows the time. The man with two is never quite sure..." Either way, a lot of wisdom contained in a few words!

BTW, my new Casio solar-powered wrist toy, besides showing GMT as well as local time and 12 or 24 hr. clock, has 5 alarms (!) , shows altitude, barometric pressure, temperature, changes time zones automatically and receives regular radio corrections from the atomic clock in Colorado, which is accurate to +/- one sec. in 65 million years.
Go ahead, ask me the time! \:D/

LOL. Do you know the old fighter pilot saying: "Big watch, little d***"?

Before I was a fighter pilot I was an auto engineer, so I can poke fun.

The engineer's version is something like: "The size of the watch is
inversely proportional to the size of the subject unit."

Hi I’m new to this site and just wanted to say hello to everyone. I came across this post seeing someone had an interest about ceramic bearings.
I own a manufacturing facility and make ceramic wheel & transmission bearings for all applications. I have used Hybrid Ceramics for 2 Years in the rear axles of 3 Racecars. Did we pick up any speed? Maybe. Did we win more races? Probably. Have we ever hurt one? Never. The experts will tell you it is not a huge gain over a good high quality well maintained bearing. However, it makes you feel good when you spin that bearing & it spins forever. I buy Regular & Ceramic from the guys below. Bearing Tech will custom build you anything. Also, they will cut the price if you buy quantities. So get your buddies together & do a group buy.

Ceramic bearings are the Holy Grail!! They are smoother, lighter, stiffer, corrosion resistant, harder and electrically resistant. They also diss heat quicker, reduce friction and wear, maintain a smooth and precision surface.... period!

They can be gotten in full ceramic or partial, with a steel race.

Made from Silicon Nitrate (Si3N4) which is similar to what's used on the space shuttle.

dont mean to jack this thread but what is a good torque reading that it takes to spin a rearend. i have the same problem with my moser 9" with 35 spline axles. it is hard to turn by hand.
