Rules to follow as Speed Talk comes back on line

Post by bpe_dyno » Thu Feb 07, 2019 2:15 pm

As most of you know this industry was Don Terrill's passion and the forum was a way for Don to share and grow his passion with others. Speed Talk has always been unique.
Professional, Respectful and Helpful are the qualities which made Speed Talk unique. Don's family has the goal of maintaining these qualities with the forum. In order to do this we ask that everyone help. If you feel someone is getting outside the lines please pm an administrator and they will likely be removed. We are going to error on the side of what we think Don would have wanted. If you think you are close to crossing the line we ask you not to post, if you do you will likely be banned. We are hoping the forum continues to be a place where people go to get helpful insightful knowledge. We are counting on all of you to ensure that happens. Thanks to everyone for keeping this going.

"Two thumbs up". Let's keep Don's site as professional as he was.

I'd like to add that I've always thought of speedtalk is for DIYers(pro or amateur) and I think some use it to get a lot of business, I don't have a problem with people who offer services but don't discourage others from DIY. If you don't wanna share how to do something just don't post.
I know as much as I can learn and try to keep an open mind to anything!

If I didn't overthink stuff I wouldn't be on speedtalk!

Met so many nice people here and became life long friends with many of them.
