Sorry I posted this in the wrong thread

Working on a project that we need the extended length lifter honing mandrel for the Sunnen P-180 set up. .869-.900 range. Anyone have anything they do not use willing to sell or rent? $460 to purchase new is just not justifiable for the amount it will get used.

If you have enough tooling around the shop, it might be possible to use a rod shop pin mandrel, modify it slightly to drive it with a Sunnen hone yoke and hand held drill motor or chuck in the head shop. BTDT when finish-sizing Studebaker Champion .625" lifter bores after reaming for .005" oversize lifters.
