Depending on what mandrels you want there are several equipment dealers that have either a CK-10 style add on or dedicated machines.
Depending on location I can put you in touch with a few machines mandrels are extra cost depending on size and stone number. Most common is 10 stone mandrels covering most V-8 stuff

I thought about an add on but im not sure about tying up the machine for both usages. whats you experience with the add on, work ok or better off with two separate pieces.

I have done both and depending on your work load it tie's up the hone if you have several projects on the go.
Personally I have a separate line hone machine close to the Cylinder hone so I can crane blocks between each other as needed.

I mounted a jib crane to the line hone for simple loading of either machine. That will depend on how much space you have but the line hone cabinet takes the same sq ft as a CK-10 does.

that's what I was thinking. a separate machine right next to the hone would be best.
