Probably too far for us northwesterners to come get anything, but having bought and sold a lot of used equipment, you'll want to revise your offering to include exact model, approximate age, tooling included, condition and asking price. Answer those in advance and save yourself hours on the phone and e-mail.

Hi, Eric,

Free advice is worth what you pay for it. From experience, if your machines individually are worth $60,000, selling as a complete shop, a broker won't want to pay more than half that.

To get top dollar market value, you'll have to clean, photograph, advertise, answer questions, crate and ship each machine individually. It's a PITA and that's how brokers make their money.
