Re: WTB Tappet Grinder
We just finished rebuilding a Tobin-Arp and it was a huge PITA. We still have to hook up a coolant pump, but all the mechanics are ready to go.
Lessons learned: make sure you get a good one and which has the Operation Manual, spacer block, stone dressing tool, both arbor flanges and the adjusting screw holder. Finding all that is impossible and making it takes a lot of time.

Yes Jack I'm sure of that. Thanks for the input and I missed a Sunnen complete unit in operation by just a day, that hurt. Randy

Re: WTB Tappet Grinder
I am a very happy machinist as we found a Sunnen TR-6700 that was never used!! I have not called Sunnen on the year but this is a white one and should be 1990s or later. Next I called and found a set of collets from .300 to 1.025 with only the .800/.925 missing which this machine came with! I think that lottery tickets should be bought as this fell together just great.

I would call him, as he may know of a grinder.
