Thinking about selling whole shop... (Cylinder Heads)

Post by JRice »

I went to the School of Automotive Machinists about 7-8 years ago and bought
Up this equipment to start a busniess just doing performance cylinder heads. I've gotten bored with
It and seeing if anyone is interested in all the equipment as a package deal.

2007 Sunnen DCM HMC 3000 cylinder head machining center.
All computerized with air floating table.
Does seat and guide work, surface heads, and with some added tooling
Surface and bore blocks.
Includes lots of tooling to do seat work on modular fords, LS, sbf, BBF, sbc, and most imports

2005 Superflow 600
Has berzinski fixture with several plates and bores
Flowcom
About 200-250 test valves of all sizes

IDL center valve grinder (just like a vr7000 sunnen)

And all my cylinder head porting equipment.
3 grinders (2 are pencil grinders like a jeweler would use the other
Is a Milwaukee)
About 50 burr bites
Cylinder head stands

Once again not looking to split this stuff up.
Package deal for everything $40k
Will entertain trades also...

Probably get a better price and sell everything sooner if you just sell every individual item on ebay.

I'm sure your right, but I'm not paying eBay fees and
Don't want to deal with several different transactions.
(Don't have alot of free time on my hands to move the machines)

I gotta admit, I think Joe is right, thats a tough sell as a package IMHO especially considering the rarity of the Sunnen machine.
