Yup, it's the job of the IRS to keep taxpayers honest, not some impotent dickhead in the US Congress! It's been published that Trump was audited and nothing was found so what could congress do that hasn't already been done besides harass anyone associated with Trump like they've done for the last two plus years??
To my knowledge only Trump says he has and is under audit. Richard Nixon was under audit, and the congress looked at his taxes, he owed thousands of dollars. Nothing about an audit would cause you not to release your tax filings. Plus the fact Trump hired a law firm to protect his returns, so he will spend what $500,000 or more just to keep them secret, give me a break Trump is running scared, he simply does not want anybody to see them and put the dots together. He is a crook plain and simple. The law giving congress the right to see them is a hundred years old, and congress has never been denied, its closed case law, no matter how much you squirm.
You would fit right into North Korea, or some other dictatorship country...

Why bother with his tax returns, just go with your thugs one night and make him disappear
Yup, age old sick defense, as soon as you are cornered in your position, wave the flag and question your opponents patriotism.

This was wrong during Vietnam, "love it or Leave it" era, and is still wrong today.

You do not like facing other's views, You move to NK, they have no arguments there.

I think the lefties would like the guvment to allow everyone's taxes to be made public, that way they can spy on their neighbors, people at work they don't like, or anyone else they are jealous of.

Trump submits hie tax returns every year to the IRS. That's the people who know the tax system inside out,, and of course, like every normal person with a pile of complicated things to declare, he has several tax expert accountants do his returns.

This is called reality... yet for some strange reason , the mentally challenged mathematicians on the left.. think they can find a misplaced decimal point or two?

Don't forget, the left is where the DISCOVERY math concept came from

They are that crazy neighborhood dog who loved to chace cars... funny watching them lose their minds over it

Trump is driving his car juuust fast enough, they are an inch from his bumper. I love it

Can't wait for the day he slams on the brakes

Yet another topic debated almost entirely on political "identity politics" grounds...
Why not in the application of basic principles?

I would (hopefully) suspect it'd be quite challenging to find someone that would NOT support transparency of ALL government officials AND ANY private citizens engaged in ANY financial "transactions" with our government.

I have raised this question in the past on this board...
If you DO support such a position, would YOU support that YOUR Income tax returns be public information???

If you DO NOT, then what justification would you have in requiring others to disclose their related government information???

Regardless of your position on this matter, it elucidates the current INDISCERNIBLE (or some might say, NON-existent) line between public and private information.

You can either wave goodbye to government transparency OR YOUR right to privacy...

You know what your problem is?

Someone could ask you if it's raining or sunny outside,, your reply would be so long winded, twisted , turned upside down and backwards, then inside out....and they still wouldnt know if it was rainy or sunny.

I had six people read what your reply was, two said your kinda for it, they think. one said she had no idea what side you were on, one more said you were mostly against it, and the last two said you were a jerk.

You can't brings yourself to say the words "trump should not release his personal tax info"

You missed the point, the issue is DT breaking the norms, not personal privacy. Other countries divulge tax returns, they survive somehow. Public officials are a different class, by there own choice to serve the public, and hiding anything is the best way to corrode public trust. If you can't be transparent, stay out of public office. DT just doesn't get that.

Well if Trump is a criminal, and using the office of president to make money, and or has been laundering Russian money, etc, etc. its everyone's business, because it's not just Trump's country, it's everyone's country and I for one don't want a crook with Alzheimer's running the government, and a lot of other people seem to feel the same way. Trump wanted to be president, politicians show the people their tax returns for decades, Trump needs to put on his big boy pants and do what's right for a change. The law giving congress the right to see them is over 100 years old, left over from the tea pot dome scandal. Just like all his lying and squirming, what the hell has he got to hide? Only people with things to hide act the way he does, that is just common sense.

What is Trump hiding? You've got to be kidding or very, very stupid.

Trump is the most closely examined president in history. He had to file with the Federal Elections Board as a candidate, has his taxes very closely examined by the hostile and currupt IRS, has been investigated by a Special Counsel for over two years (at a cost of over $20 million, researched by the NYT and Wash Compost and every media outlet in the Western Hemisphere.

THEY ALL FOUND NOTHING. NOTHING.

Trump has every right to withold his tax returns (where are Obama's school transcripts?) and to tell the very stupid Democraps that they lost the election and elections have consequences. So go fuuck off, assholes.
