They want it until they get it. Then it will be like france, and other such places that implement super high taxation and control over every aspect of your life. In that system the rulers are the elite and will never be taxed. All the millennial bunch can't read or understand history.
And like all the demonrats on this site they only hear the lies, truth can not enter their minds.

Back again!

I just thought of this old CSN&Y song! It kinda brings a tear to my eye..

Teach Your Children Well

You who are on the road
Must have a code, you try to live by
And so become yourself
Because the past is just a goodbye

Teach your children well
Their father's hell did slowly go by
Feed them on your dreams
The one they fix, the one you'll know by

Don't you ever ask them why
If they told you, you would cry
So just look at them and sigh
And know they love you

And you of tender years
Can't know the fears that your elders grew by
Help them with your youth
They seek the truth before they can die

Teach your parents well
Their children's hell will slowly go by
And feed them on your dreams
The one they fix, the one you'll know by

Don't you ever ask them why
If they told you, you would cry
So just look at them and sigh
And know they love you

Don't you ever ask them why
If they told you, you would cry
So just look at them and sigh
And know they love you

And know they love you
And know they love you, yeah
And know they love you

I'm pretty sure they feel the same about your position, but they are civil enough to mind their manners, to a large degree, BTW #-o

Is that the capitalism dump says he don't give a f about beacuse he won't be around for the implosion? Is it capitalist to spend beyond your means ? Or is the system distorted and is no longer capitalism ? I am just asking i do not pretend to know. What system will replace it if it fails ? Or can it sustain a 100 000 000 000 000$ deficit ?

The millennials dont know any of that,, they're dumb.

They just like communism and socialism because stuff is free...which of course would never implode because money comes from the money factory..as long as the government owned and run money factory has government workers printing money.. it's all good

By the way,, i started this because there have been a few studies lately and interviews that showed a majority of millennials think this way

The final conclusion of capitalism is, one single person eventually has all the capital, There is no limit to greed. There is no safeguard in pure capitalism to stymie this outcome. Until that day arrives, we step by step, make that journey.

Does that mean Capitalism is a bad system or one that can't be tamed, no, but one that first needs to recognize it for what it is, and accept its potential downsides, in trying to keep it under control.

Fail, and revolutions set up the next version, according to history.

There is a black cloud over the US now that this socialist demonrat bunch is a majority in congress. Wickedness can flourish now.

They don't all want it. Case in point, me. Just the noisy ones that complain because things didn't work out perfectly as they were brainwashed to believe. And now they are bitter and looking for someone to blame. It's a failure on everyone's account.

The complainy ones are too far removed from a generation where it was just accepted that it took hard work and determination to get where you want to go. People like to point at them and say "look how dumb". You know, dumbness doesn't come from thin air... They got their ideas from somewhere. Again, a failure on so many fronts. People say "look how entitled". Yeah, it's true. Where do you think it came from?

My wife works at a place that has a decent rotation of people fresh out of college or even younger. The change in attitude in even the last 5 years is noticeable. The issue is mindset. For some reason, the buckle-down attitude of "I may not know what it takes to succeed yet, but I'm not giving up" has been replaced with.. well I don't know what.. It honestly might be replaced with simply nothing. The younger generations have not been prepared for how to behave when things are tough and things don't happen right the first time. Simply due to omission or not having faced it in any real capacity.

The resultant behaviors are plain as day. Deflection, blaming, focusing on other things (aka easy stuff, people that did worse, etc).

Now mind you, there are those who don't have it easy. There are plenty of kids in tough situations. You name them, not knowing when their next meal will be, not knowing what faces them at home, etc. I feel for them, but they are getting a dose of life early.

One thing I can not blame them for, is who wants to work in a swet shop? They would have never made it 30 or 40 years ago working for some of the A holes I have had to work for. Business's will have to change their ways else they will find no workers. I've always hated how they like to own you.
Don't dare take off a day, don't make the job easier or simpler, do it our way or else even if its not the right way just do it.

....
The problem is 2 fold.

First is real median household income hasn't risen in decades despite dual income households going from about 20% in the 50s to 60+% now. People are working more just to keep up.

2nd is underempoyment.....which causes reason #1. Total US unemployment is very low, but US underemployment is historically high....about 15% overall and over 30% for college educated people....you now, the ones particularly unhappy about the current state of things and going to protests.

Perhaps a 3rd prong is that real income for those in the top 10% was about doubled since the 50s, and is up 3-4times for the top 2%. Wage disparity now is getting close to what it was during the industrial revolution, just before the rise of unions and then regulation which forced more income to move down the ladder.

The studies and in person interviews where conducted on college and university campuses..

The majority, that would be more than half , said they would prefer too live in a true social state or one under communism rule.

You just had to look at how the young really loved Bernie sanders....his only talking point was " your a victim of the government and I'm gonna give you free stuff taken from the top 1%"

They fall for that message...coming from him,who has been in the government his whole adult life and IS in the 1% crowd.

And now we see that hard core socialist Cortez sterling Bernies base....I can't imagine how much damage they could do if they teamed up in 2020.
