Why must Comey Interview be private?

Post by j-c-c » Mon Nov 26, 2018 9:28 am

What games are we playing here?
What is the point of taping a private interview and then releasing it later, with the chance of "DT/Acosta mic battle" after the fact editing potential?
If it was good enough for DT, Why not Comey, submit written questions to Comey, and then don't release anything and keep it all secret?

If hearings are too "carnival", heal thyself congressmen.

Comey wants a public hearing because he has nothing to hide, and knows that the republicans have managed to either fire or force retirements from everybody in the FBI that can back up his story about what Trump asked him to do.

It tells me that he wants to be a situation where the only thing he can say is, "Sorry, I can't comment, that's classified. Sorry, I can't comment. Sorry."

It's the cowardly way out.

just because someone was retired or fired, doesnt mean they cant testify if they actually have some knowledge.. #-o

Or a great way to hide or parcel out leaks to fit one's narrative under the auspices of its "classified"?

I can assume your narrative then, correct?

Or like DT willing to only answer written Mueller questions, because he is too "cowardly"?

You have it backwards the Republicans would selectively leak if not a PUBLIC airing.

Have you all watched any of these hearings?

They proceed *exactly* the way that I described up above.

Explain to me how that will accomplish anything.

My narrative is that I'm sorry that you voted for a party that lost. However, you're going to have to deal with it probably for 2 full terms, the way I had to deal with Obama being president for 2 full terms. You can either accept it and go on with your life, or you can get on here everyday, make a bunch of people mad, instigate a bunch of hate, and whine and cry because your party lost.

Easy so he has to answer ALL the questions and can't say. "Sorry I can't answer that because its classified".

Yup, you got it. It would be impossible to ask him any in depth questions.

If it's in private, they can ask anything . We would still find out what the outcome is whem the transcripts get released

Read between the redacted lines to find out what went on

The left knows that

The left is too stupid to figure out the head of the FBI is different than the head of the Boy Scouts

He's playing on the stupidity of the left..can't blame him, it would be the first thing that comes to mind if I was a snake like him

And then tell lies, that can't be challenged in public because its "classified"

Sorry that;s just a BS cover story.

So much for transparency.

Keep playing games, they end 2020.

Yes, let's just put everything classified out in the open, shall we? Hillary did. Who needs national security?

I think I'll take another sabbatical from here. Ciao.
