Saudi suspect in Khashoggi case ‘dies in car accident’: Report

Post by 1989TransAm » Thu Oct 18, 2018 12:54 pm

"A Turkish newspaper reported on Oct. 18 that one of the suspects involved in the disappearance of Saudi writer Jamal Khashoggi died in a “suspicious car accident” in Riyadh.

Mashal Saad al-Bostani, a 31-year-old lieutenant of the Saudi Royal Air Forces, was among the 15 suspects who arrived and left Turkey on Oct. 2 after going to Saudi Arabia’s Istanbul consulate when Khashoggi visited there, according to daily Yeni Şafak.
The newspaper said sources did not release any details about the traffic accident in Riyadh and Bostani’s role in the “murder” was not yet clear.

Daily Hürriyet columnist Abdulkadir Selvi claimed on Oct. 18 that Saudi Arabia’s Istanbul consul Mohammad al-Otaibi could be “the next execution” as Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman “would do anything to get rid of evidence.”
Turkish daily Yeni Şafak reported Oct. 17 that Al-Otaibi’s voice could be heard in one of the recordings, which Turkish authorities are believed to have, of Khashoggi’s “interrogation” at the consulate.

According to the report, after Al-Otaibi told the interrogators to “do it somewhere else outside or I will be in trouble,” he was told to “shut up if you want to live when you are back in Saudi Arabia.”
Al-Otaibi returned to Saudi Arabia on Oct. 16 before his residence in Istanbul was searched by police for more than eight hours on Oct. 17 and Oct. 18."

There is a lot going on here behind the scenes. Not to justify in any way the actions of those who likely summarily did away with Khashoggi...... Keep in mind that Khashoggi was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood and they want to take down the Saudi leadership. 'Obama' backed the Muslim Brotherhood and several of his and Hillary Clinton's closest advisors (Valerie Garrett and Huma Abadin being notable amongst them) have close ties to the Iranians and family members who are members of this terrorist organization. However, when President Trump was inaugurated, that all changed. No more money to the Iranians, Hezbollah and the Palestinian terrorists, et al.

The current Prince has been taking Saudi Arabia in a new direction that is more Western, getting away from extremist Wahhabi (Salafi) religious influence and initiating other reforms such as women being allowed to drive and go out of their homes in public places without being accompanied by a male family member, for instance. And he has aligned Saudi Arabia with countries in the region that oppose the Iranians (Israel being amongst them). The Muslim Brotherhood cannot abide that and have made death threats against the Prince and members of the royal family. And as you may know, in the Middle East, all sides play for keeps. So the threat posed by Khashoggi and the Muslim Brotherhood may well have been preemptorily neutralized...... For the time being.

That's my take on it anyway,

Harry

Women being allowed to drive was a PR diversion Trojan horse for the world, to suggest a western shift, and we fell for it, and it can be rescinded in a NY minute. Thinking innocent till proven guilty US response, is in the realm of Oswald is still innocent until proven guilty. Letting The Saudi's have the last say in their responsibility in this murder is like have Don Jr investigate Russian collusion.

I understand it takes time for DT to get all his money out of the Kingdom, so I expect a slow constipated US flaccid official to the response to the gruesome murder.

You are an idiot. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Khashoggi was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, a big supported of Iran and was anti-Jewish. He was a member of the Wahhabism of the Arab world. The current leadership in Saudi Arabia is slowly moving the country away from Wahhabism and there are forces around the world how are trying to stop it including Obama and his minions. A whole lot going on here besides his death.

Edit: "If you get your news from the media, then you will have heard that Jamal Khashoggi was a heroic reform who sought freedom for the region, and was brutally murdered to the strains of hip-hop music by a legion of Saudi assassins. And it was all recorded on his Apple Watch.
If you're interested in the facts, instead of the fake news, you probably already know that Jamal Khashoggi was a Muslim Brotherhood leader and an old friend of Osama bin Laden.
He's being mourned by the media that backed the Muslim Brotherhood."

Bet hannay told you all about it...

Al Arabiya reported that Khashoggi once tried to persuade bin Laden to quit violence.[46] Khashoggi was the only non-royal Saudi Arabian who knew of the royals' intimate dealing with al-Qaeda in the lead-up to the September 11 terrorist attacks. He dissociated himself from bin Laden following the attacks.[29]

Khashoggi wrote in response to the September 11 attacks: "The most pressing issue now is to ensure that our children can never be influenced by extremist ideas like those 15 Saudis who were misled into hijacking four planes that fine September day, piloting them, and us, straight into the jaws of hell."[44

He and bin Laden were buddies in high school. They took different paths to try and achieve the same goal.
