I normally question most new laws, but......

Post by j-c-c » Tue Oct 16, 2018 3:41 pm

There ought to be a law prohibiting live pre storm interviews of those boasting about:
"riding out the Storm',
"I been thru a hurricane before"
"I'm well boarded Up"
Etc.

No need introduce and promote testosterone one upmanship with TV publicity

ya, that testosterone is a bad thing..would be much easier to ban or have a law against it.

they would only need to round up any male on the right... the left handed in their testosterone long ago.

I've come to suspect this site is heavily infected and mostly trafficked with Russian bots/trolls, as to almost with any topic, no matter how relevant/topical, if it does not have a divisive political component, it gets little air time.

Really should change title of the forum and remove "current Events" and add "rock throwing" =D>

But I maybe wrong.

Most of us will not engage you because it is futile, the same goes for either side. As far as rock throwing goes, would you rather bet on skipping a rock or throw a big one to get the big splash, as an intelligence quotient? I wouldn't bet on either but with a few beers, who knows. :D

As to your original question, the media is going to do whatever they can sell.

I find this funny because of the crazy stuff I read here. If you think about it, it's very funny how the guy thinks he has been persecuted. I had a short time relationship where the girl would get drunk and come home and harp for an hour till she passed out. Ya, that didn't last long, no matter how nice she was when she was sober. Anyhoosit, enjoy

I'm engaging you, but whatever your point is that is relative to my comment, I'm at a loss to understand.

What is your goal in engagement that becomes futile?
Which other side?
I'm often labeled as belonging to one side I believe falsely, I believe I only take positions, I don''t care whose side they may belong to, merit is a much more important quality to me.

The rock thing is also over my head.

What media is involved with trolls/bots on this site?

I suspect this same line of reasoning could be applied to a majority of media coverage..

If media stopped covering school shootings and "blue on black crime", it may likely reduce future "aspirations".

Maybe, But I feel I need to be informed about school shootings,

but the DA that want attention because they decide to risk themselves and rescuers for their own glory, not so much.
