So huge it's only news at Breitbart
Ya, using data from the labour board of the U.S. government is sooooo right wing

What do you consider news? CNN reporting that trump needs to be impeached ,,just , well, because?
he obviously has a severe case of head up ass, or he's on drugs. only possible explanations.
He's setting himself up to be right for the first time in his life..everyone knows the economy is on fire right now due too trumps policies

But it will cool down at some point, then he'll pounce and say AHA, I TOLD YOU. Which means nothing.. but he gets to say I told you so for a day or two

Nobody is questioning the numbers, just the interpretation.

Job growth which has been strong since 2009 is slowing significantly while other economic indicators are pointing to a imminent downturn. This is what is news to most people, but as the article says, right now, looking at none of the trendlines or anything else, the employment numbers are good.

When the economy crashed in 08/09, it took longer to recover to previous levels than it did to recover from the Great Depression.

Obama had one slow azz recovery , considering there was no where to go but up..it was long and painful.

I'm in the markets, so I know how slow it was..there was no reason except strangling regulations..which should have been relaxed during that time..instead, more were introduced and the green agenda also took hold under Obama

Maybe if we had gotten WW3 started it would have been faster? WW2 sure worked for the example in your comparison.

You mean the depression cause when countries around the world imposed protectionist tariffs?

No reason the 2009 recovery was slow other than the damage to the world's economy was massive, profound, and complex.

As for the markets, you may have noticed they flatlined about the time Rump kicked off all this trade nonsense and there is no expectation they are going to improve. The bond yield curve is trending down and nearly inverted at this point ( 2 year yield above 10 year)....with just 1 exception in the past 60 years a yield inversion has signaled a coming recession. The collectable car market is softening, another sign cash is being held rather than spent. Job growth has slowed, unemployment is very low...a dip in unemployment always proceeds recession. The economy has crested, the tax cut (aka stimulus) will probably still cause a small wave of increased GDP growth for a quarter or 2 but all indications are a recession is coming.

Trump’s ‘America First’ Economy Secures 10-Year Employment High for Manufacturing Workers
10 Jul 2018
More American manufacturing workers are employed today than at any time in the last ten years as President Trump’s ‘America First’ economy seeks to protect U.S. industry and jobs with tariffs, less immigration, and tax relief.

In June 2018, Trump’s booming economy delivered an additional 36,000 manufacturing jobs for American workers, many of whom have had their livelihoods destroyed by job-killing free trade deals like NAFTA and KORUS.

William Pitt, British Prime-Minister (1759-1806)

That's the typical lefty response.. tell us what year you want to return too?

Which sounds like going backwards.. and the lefties actually want you to think that.

"Great" does not mean any specific year or time.. great just means great.
