Reuters Poll: Young White Americans Flee Democrat Party In Droves Since Trump’s Election

Post by 1989TransAm » Wed Jul 04, 2018 1:18 pm

MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.

"Young white Americans are fleeing the Democrat Party en masse following the election of President Donald Trump in 2016, a new poll reveals. The latest Reuters/Ipsos Poll surveyed more than 16,000 registered voters between the ages 18 to 34 over the course of the last three months of 2018. This same poll was conducted in 2016 around the same time period.

Young white Americans, in 2016, favored Democrats over Republicans in 2016 by a 47 to 33 percent margin. Since Trump’s election — and his booming economy which has secured high-paying jobs and record job opportunities — young white Americans’ favoritism for Democrats has disappeared.
Today, 39 percent of young white Americans say they favor Republicans, while another 39 percent of young white Americans say they favor Democrats."

Lots more at the link.

I saw that the other day. The stunning part is the 10-point rise among Hispanics after the media tried to crucify Trump over Clinton's separation policy at the border.

And the left keeps veering further and further to the left. When are these clowns going to realize that they're on the wrong side of history?

Winning! \:D/

Couldn't have been they disliked DT, and felt HC was their only better option, and DT is now a sinking ship, and they want to play a part in picking his replacement, or is that too complicated for the "cut and paste" crowd? #-o

For the cut and paste crowd:

"The sheer volume of Trump scandals can seem difficult to keep track of.

There’s the ongoing special-counsel investigation into whether the Trump campaign aided a Russian campaign to aid Trump’s candidacy and defeat his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton; there’s the associated inquiry into whether the president obstructed justice when he fired former FBI Director James Comey, whom he had asked not to investigate his former national-security adviser; there are the president’s hush-money payments to women with whom he allegedly had extramarital affairs, made through his personal attorney, Michael Cohen, and facilitated by corporate cash paid to influence the White House; there is his ongoing effort to interfere with the Russia inquiry and politicize federal law enforcement; there are the foreign governments that seem to be utilizing the president’s properties as vehicles for influencing administration policy; there’s the emerging evidence that Trump campaign officials sought aid not only from Russia, but from other foreign countries, which may have affected Trump’s foreign policy; there are the ongoing revelations of the president’s Cabinet officials’ misusing taxpayer funds; there is the accumulating evidence that administration decisions are made at the behest of private industry, in particular those in which Republican donors have significant interests.

The preceding wall of text may appear to some as an abridged list of the Trump administration’s scandals, but this is an illusion created by the perception that these are all separate affairs. Viewed as such, the various Trump scandals can seem multifarious and overpowering, and difficult to fathom.

There are not many Trump scandals. There is one Trump scandal. Singular: the corruption of the American government by the president and his associates, who are using their official power for personal and financial gain rather than for the welfare of the American people, and their attempts to shield that corruption from political consequences, public scrutiny, or legal accountability."

The last paragraph is the one that has me roaring with laughter, especially when highlighted in red. Concise the way jcc likes things dontcha think? When you read it there is emblazoned on the big screen for all to see, OBAMA and his administration. Love it.

I know, right? It left me realizing that there's no sense in me responding but I'm glad you did. Luckily America is waking up to this kind of nonsense.

Figured the red color would be less traumatic for the "red" wave, and all its flotsam.

My apologies to all those color blind, but that is a rarity in these here parts.

Let the record show, you also avoided making a single substantive counter to my pasted well publicized DT "scandals", we call that classic deflection, its become a common habit or maybe a nervous tic, not sure, in these exchanges. [-X

Are you addressing me specifically? If you are then let me say that there is no need to counter this paste of yours. But just for the fun of it I will mention a few observations. Beginning with the fact that the article mentions an "ongoing investigation" then "the associated inquiry". Next the "allegedly" wording, hmm! Oh and the foreign governments that "seem" to have utilized what? to do what? Next "emerging evidence". And "may have affected". Wait, oooh "accumulating evidence" and lets top that all off with the author stating that "this is an illusion created by a perception". And very difficult to "fathom". Then back to the authors description of OBAMA and his corrupt administration. OOOH SO sorry. That fact slipped out accidentally. Adam Serwer is the authors name for your information jcc.
