It is as clear as it can be that you were totally unaware of the basic facts of this situation. It was made obvious by the question you asked. Go read it again. Here it is.

You asked, "If it was so easy with Kim and Moon leading the way why did not Obama do this deal?"

It was not even a remote possibility with Kim and Moon "leading the way" for "Obama to do this deal". There are many reasons why. The bleeding bloody obvious one being that Moon Jae-in did not arrive on the scene as President of South Korea until AFTER Obama was gone. That is, Obama was no longer the President of the USA. By the time Kim and Moon started their dialogue there was no President Obama to be "leading the way" for. It is flipping obvious that you did not even know...
You do not understand what I am saying. I know Park was president of South Korea at the time and was replaced by Moon in 2017. President Trump started this process when Park was president and continued it when Moon became president later in 2017. My point is if this is so easy why did Obama start this process with Park? If you want to deflect so be it.

Magnificent day today. Historic accomplishment with North Korea by President Trump. Kim has agreed to get rid of his nukes and signed the agreement. This is on par with the Berlin Wall coming down. President Trump you magnificent bastard. :D  =D>

It was "easy", because it is only so far a grand albeit historic photo op, combined with showmanship, nothing is really agreed to yet by Congress, in writing or actually done. We have crossed this bridge before. The hard work is ahead.
I don't give much credence to blowing up wooden sheds with only selected reporters present, that had their Geiger counters confiscated, just good theater.

Your response is a bit dismissive toward an event the rest of the world deems to be quite significant. Everyone knows the process will be long and hard. It took 65 years of bumblefuuck stumbling to get here; the longest journey begins with the first step.
Isn't a bit strange that in 65 years, no other president has made any progress at all. Obviously, the North Koreans must be a nation of deplorables who follow Trump.

Congress? This Congress? This Congress couldn't pass a fart. Meaningful work will be done in Congress after the mid-term election when real Republicans are in full control of both Houses.

Truth! We've got to keep majorities so this thing becomes a treaty because you know damn well the dems will thwart a Trump victory at the expense of peace.

I sure hope Donald Trump carves out a good 500 acres of beachfront property to start building Trump International Golf Course and Resort NOKO in 2025

Typical response from the Debbie Downers on this board. They are going to be negative against President Trump no matter what. All they are doing is degrading there responses on this board and their credibility is going down further each day.

You know Kim did none of that right?

And you also know Rump gave him an end to war games, aka military training in exchange for the photo op....following in the steps of pres Clinton in '92.

Hopefully something good comes from it but Kim's probably playing Rump and will give up nothing.

Rump seems to have no idea why the military does war games rather than parades.

He also seems to have no idea why US Presidents don't normally meet with dictators

Nor does he seem to have any idea about the value of alliances to national security.

So far he's shown great skill at decimating US security......
