Support the NRA

Post by David Redszus » Mon Feb 26, 2018 12:08 pm

The leftist liberals are seeking to destroy the 2nd Amendment and to reduce the impact that the NRA makes
on politicians to preserve our right to carry arms.

I would strongly suggest that every one of us join the NRA, whether we own a weapon or not, to thwart socialist efforts
at gun control.

I have decided to purchase NRA memberships for every family member including my young grand daughters.
It only cost 30 buck a year (including the magazine) to stay informed about gun issues.
Go to NRA.org for more information.
What is the NRA’s history?
The National Rifle Association was founded in 1871 by U.S. Army veterans Col. William C. Church and
Gen. George Wingate to “promote and encourage rifle shooting on a scientific basis.” In the following
decades, the NRA has provided world-class firearms instruction to thousands of gun owners across the country.

When anti-gun lobbyists and politicians began their war on the Second Amendment four decades ago,
the NRA fought back. And over the years, we’ve defeated hundreds of attempts on the national,
state and local levels to infringe on your Right to Keep and Bear Arms.

Today, the NRA stands as America’s oldest civil rights organization. Every time there’s a threat to
your gun rights, the NRA is there to defend your freedom. We also provide firearms training and
gun safety programs to gun owners from all walks of life.
If you really think about it, the NRA is the only real civil rights organization in our country.

The NRA done some stuff a few years ago that made me decide not to renew my membership. However I re joined yesterday. FWIW I believe the Gun Owners of America do more for gun owners, but get less headlines. I suggest joining or donating to them too.

I'm a life member and bought life memberships for all three of my children and one grandson. Don't agree with everything they do, but it appears they have the most clout defending our second amendment rights.

Since NRA pisses the socialists off so bad, figure its a good one to support!

Also for those of you who are life members or have been members for the last uninterupted five years, please vote for members of your choice for NRA's board of directors.
A name in the hat I'd encourage you to consider is Mark Humphreville. Humpy is an outstanding man, a competitive shooter and former test director of Aberdeen Proving Ground.

Nice to see that FedEx kept their discount intact rather than bow to the lefts constant whining.

With 70% of Americans in favor of more gun control....not a smart financial move.

Just seen on the TV news of the businesses who are cutting their ties with NRA. Wished they would have freeze framed that screen for a couple seconds longer so I could've gotten a better look. I'll find which ones they are. From the brief glimpse I got, it looked like United Airline and some rental car companies. Guess which businesses I'm cutting my ties with?

They rate with those low life scum bags like Target, that never get a nickel of my money.

The left is pretty dilusional if they think that taking away a discount for NRA members is going to have any effect on membership numbers. Ask Chick-fil-A how well that boycott worked out.

Myself and quite of few of my conservative gun owning friends are all for tougher gun laws.

I'm all for restricting who can get guns, not restricting guns themselves.

Yeah Woody, I've been a member of Gun Owners of America for a long time and I agree that they are really active but don't get the press headlines like the NRA does. And if you think about it, that may not be a bad thing right now!!

Ennywho, I'll think about the NRA and maybe sign up for one year just to piss off a f...ing M0R0N or two! =D>
