Looks like all of this happened during Obama's watch. By the way what does this have to do with how well President Trump is doing with the economy?

Thats what everyone wants.
Nearly a year into his takeover of Washington, President Trump has made a significant down payment on his campaign pledge to shrink the federal bureaucracy, a shift long sought by conservatives that could eventually bring the workforce down to levels not seen in decades.

By the end of September, all Cabinet departments except Homeland Security, Veterans Affairs and Interior had fewer permanent staff than when Trump took office in January — with most shedding many hundreds of employees, according to an analysis of federal personnel data by The Washington Post.

It's good as long as the departments are still run well and efficiently. That doesn't seem to be the case.

State dept. seems to be the hardest hit. Some are all for it but I don't like what it does to our world standing. China and Russia are chomping at the bit to be #1 superpower. We are very vulnerable right now.

Glad you answered. Better than some on this forum. However IMHO the State Dpartment is one of the most overstaffed departments in the government. It needs to be trimmed down. As to who is chomping at the bit to be #1 it was Obama who was taking down this country. It is President Trump who is Making This Country Great Again.

Most of those agency could be eliminated and it would only benefit society.

Thats an interesting opinion, one thats been kicked around before. IMO the answer lies somewhere between your opinion and the Bernie Sanders options.

Agreed. Those that think the far left or right is the correct path are nothing more than brainwashed sheep.
