Bwahahahahaha. That is a good one. :mrgreen:
From a guy on a government socialism program. How fuc$@! Up is that. Haha lolololol now that is priceless.
To the left wind idiots on this forum. I have paid into SS for around 45 years. I am just getting some of the money I put into it. I don't understand how hard of a concept that is to understand. But then again the liberal brain leaves a lot to be desired. [-X
I paid into SS too, except more like 50+ years!

And I am on Medicare, buy my own supplemental and have a small pension from the State of MO as well as what's left of AP Green Refractories, (now ANH?). My wife is on a MO Teachers Retirement Plan as well as Medicare and our supplemental. I guess that we are bad MF'ers because we worked all our lives plus raised a family!

Just see it for what it is ,,,Social securityis a socialist idea that is working for a lot of people that need it ,including those that have not paid in . Ss tax should apply to all income. I think it should be reformed but tax cuts for corporate elete is much more pressing.

dimoKKKRATS have fought every attempt by Republicans to reform it. Those who have not paid into it including illegals should not be getting anything from SS. As to corparate tax rate we have some of the highest in the world. President Trump wants to bring it more into alignment with the rest of the world. All that money that is parked overseas he wants to bring it back into this country. Jobs, jobs, jobs.

There's a few problems with Social Security. IMHO the biggest problem is politicians stealing from the SS trust fund. SS would be fine if the funds were left alone. The other problem is, you don't have to pay anything to receive benefits. Unlike the hard working people here there's a BUNCH of people drawing SS checks that never worked a day in their life or paid one penny into it. In addition to that the Speedtalkers who've paid into the SS trust fund for years have to pay more for Medicare, and supplements lazy people who've never paid a dime receive "medicaid". The get a SS check, and also get all of their healthcare provided for free. Out of my last 2 week paycheck I paid $222.46 to SS and $52.03 to Medicare. My employer also has to match this amount, so that's ~$550 sent to SS and Medicare every 2 weeks. People who are self employed pay the entire $550 out of their pocket, instead of their employer paying half.

But someone who never worked still get's a SS check, and doesn't have to pay additional money for healthcare.
I used to be a people person, but people ruined it.

What about a housewife who never works a regular job but stays home to raise kids?

What about folks that pass away before being able to collect?

Aren't jobs jobs jobs based on demand,, the corporations are flush with money now,stocks at record levels,earnings at an all time hi. What makes you think more money will equate to more jobs. the unemployment numbers at record lows.

Per Dome above..

"Aren't jobs, jobs, jobs, based on demand,, the corporations are flush with money now, stocks at record levels, earnings at an all time hi. What makes you think more money will equate to more jobs. the unemployment numbers at record lows."

I don't for a minute think that unemployment is at an all time LOW!!

Why doesn't our GOV. add in the people that have given up on working because they just can't find a decent job?

Add in all of them!

The ones that have given up looking for work:

The young;

The old;

Handicapped how ever so;

And whoever else fits in here.

Oh, and count the POS's that are able-bodied that are, "ON THE DOLE", too!

Then I will believe the numbers.
