I believe it also says that the 1.4 trillion number is the reduction of revenue not the increase of the deficit.
Its like you live beyond your means and borrow money to pay your bills and then think its a good idea to take a pay cut. It makes no sense, cut income increase spending and then borrow more money to make up the difference???
No it's more like you keep buying sh*t then expect your boss to just keep giving you raises to pay for it. Except in this case you're holding a gun to your bosses head while asking for the raise.

Here's a novel idea. How about the government figure out how to spend less just like private citizens would have to do.
Your state and local taxes will go up to make up for the tax cut to the top.

Dude, a couple of you guys need to get away from your Media Matters funded "news" sources before you lose whatever reasoning skills you have left. You are completely wrong!

Seeing as we have no state income tax and my local taxes are dirt cheap that's not a big hit to take if that happens at all. That's the mindset of the blue states that cutting any sort of spending is off the table.

Then deduct them from their federal taxes. When are they going to pay their fair share to the federal budget?

They don't, it's just a bunch of Democrat talking points. They create a bunch of expensive programs in their own states which is fine if that's what the citizens vote for. Then the federal tax code allows the citizens of that state to deduct a portion of those state taxes against their federal taxes which means that they don't pay the same percentage as states with no state income taxes.

Here's a handy flowchart to demonstrate how legislation works in the eyes of the left.

We all know I aint no demo c rat. But I'm all for taxing the ones that can afford it. Here in this state the demo c rat governor "GAVE" Boeing 8 plus Billion dollars of tax relief. But yeah they will still "STEAL" Rip off, take away, any pee on's house/ property that can't afford to pay their property taxes. And OH the lazy B >>>>>> Boeing still shipped production out of the state. So its even a Demo c rats thing to think they can give a big crooked company hand outs for jobs. All it does is gives them more power politically, remember Eisenhower's speech about the industrial complex.
I bet none of those planes sold by boeing have any sales tax of any sort on them. Again the super rich don't pay a thing, nor is there any control over them, they hang up signs to keep out and threaten deadly force for entry, can a pee on do that? The tax cut needs to be for people that don't make the Billions that huge out fits do. Jobs ? What is needed is more freedom to have your own work at home without some crap restrictions.

Yea like it worked at the end of the last Republican administration. Remember that?
